CNN Releases List Of 20 Most Corrupt Nigerian Politicians; Obasanjo Tops List, Others Will Shock You

The Cable News Network, CNN, in a recent publication has published a list of corrupt Nigerian politicians who led the country in the past and those who are still presently in charge. Former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo took the No. 1 position while almost the whole list is made up of politicians from the northern region of the country. See list below...
1. Oluesgun Obasanjo – He stole $25 billion from 1999-2007 ($16.4 from power sector alone)
2. Ibrahim Babangida – He stole $15 billion from 1985-1993 ($12.4 billion from oil wind fall in 1990)
3. Abdulsalam Abubakar – He stole $9 billion from 1998-99
4. Sani Abacha – He stole $7 billion from 1993-1998
5. Ahmed Bola Tinubu – He stole and continues to steal from Lagos State treasury since 1999 till date. It’s estimated that he has stolen $6 billion so far. . Another Militant Group Emerges In Niger Delta, Threatens To Launch Six Missiles

As Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari is still battling duo Niger Delta Militants, another deadly group has emerged in the Niger Delta region, calling itself the Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force, JNDLF, and threatening to begin launching six missiles in the region on June 7 in an operation it said would surprise Nigerians and the entire world. New Militant GroupIt warned the Nigerian military to peacefully leave Ijaw communities and not attempt to deploy helicopters to the South South zone as it is going to bring them down.
The group, which claimed affiliation to the Niger Delta Avengers, warned that no flight operations should take place within the country’s airspace as the missiles were capable of bringing down any aircraft no matter how big.

Peace Mass Transit Accident Only Survivor Joy Akabuike Is Dead.. See Her Burial Pictures .Imo Poly graduate, Joy Akabuike, the only survivor of the fatal accident involving a PMT bus and a truck in Umuahia on Sunday the 22nd of May 2016 has died.
She was left in a coma for several days before giving up the ghost at the Federal Medical Center in Umuahia Abia state.
She was buried in her hometown of Achi in Enugu State yesterday. See photos

Buhari approves N400bn for workers’ salaries

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has approved a whooping sum of 400bn Naira to settle the ongoing crisis over unpaid salaries.

With several states crying out that they are in debt and some states not being able to settle salaries of over 7 months, the president has had to intervene to get the nation back on track.
He today approved a relief package valued at over N400bn, which would then be distributed evenly between the states of the federation.

This comes as the Labour Party accused the government of bringing terror to homes of workers by owing them months salaries.
Meanwhile the Nigerian Labour Congress had warned the Osun Government that they would bring chaos to the state if they went ahead. .
